New model Bullet Electra.
The engine has been developed, in conjunction with Austrian powertrain systems developer AVL, to meet increasingly stringent worldwide noise & emission regulations.
It has been in production in 350cc form in India for some years. Further developed to 500cc, for the export market, the Electra has a little more power, disc front brake, gas rear shocks, constant velocity 29mm carb, transistorised coil ignition, higher gearing than the current classic Bullets, and Avon, Super Venom and Roadrunner, profiled tyres. And the bonus is, it's even more economical than the current Bullets!
A most enjoyable motorcycle to ride, able to keep up with todays traffic.
The Electra has twice the service interval of the classic Bullet (6000km).
They will be available in four colours, Dark Blue, Black, Red & British Racing Green.
